Samsung Galaxy Note10 Lite Gets Android 11 with One UI 3.0

Introduction Samsung Galaxy Note10 Lite:

Samsung Galaxy Note10 Lite is the first major operating system upgrade for the Galaxy Note 10 Lite since the smartphone launched a year ago. And Samsung doubled down on its strong software support policies the following summer by promising three generations of operating system updates for the vast majority of its contemporary mobile devices. That commitment encompassed the Galaxy Note 10 Lite, which is therefore guaranteed to receive both Android 12 and Android 13, whenever Samsung’s smartphone portfolio begins to switch to these OS versions. The latest Samsung phone to get the Andriod 11 and One UI 3.0 update treatment are the Galaxy Note10 Lite.

This is the first major operating system update for the Note10 Lite launched with Android 10. Based on Samsung’s promise of three generations of operating system updates, the device is expected to see at least two other major updates to the Android operating system in its lifetime. Android 11 based One UI 3.0 update is being rolled out to select Galaxy Note 10 Lite units. Samsung has started the rollout in the past 48 hours, bundling the update with the January 2021 security patch, which was to be expected. The next round of vulnerability fixes for the Galaxy Note 10 Lite will almost certainly not arrive as late in any given month as it has here. In the meantime, the handy Android 11 update, referred to as the release version was already spotted in France earlier this week. We’re still waiting to confirm a larger rollout, but you can still try to manually search for the new package live by going to Settings> Software Update> Download & Install on a compatible Galaxy Note 10 Lite.

CHARACTERISTICS OF THE Samsung Galaxy Note10 Lite

* The Galaxy Note 10 Lite retains the quintessential silhouette of the Note but is different enough not to be confused with a Galaxy Note 10. Samsung has become good enough to give a premium feel to its devices and it is no different for the Galaxy Note 10 Light. The front is dominated by the 6.7-inch display which includes an integrated fingerprint sensor.

* All physical buttons are placed on the right side of the frame, a design element that will become a staple for many Samsung phones in 2020. Galaxy Note 10 Lite measures 76.1 x 163.7 x 8.7mm and weighs 198 g.

* The Galaxy Note 10 Lite’s 12-megapixel main sensor is from the Galaxy Note 8, which means there is no variable aperture. The Galaxy Note 9’s 12-megapixel 2x optical zoom telephoto camera is also present on this device. A 16-megapixel super-wide-angle sensor completes the vertically positioned triple rear camera. For selfies, Samsung included a 32-megapixel front camera.

* The Galaxy Note 10 Lite runs Android 10 and comes with the One UI 2.0 skin on top. As it ships with Android 10, the device will receive major platform updates up to Android 12. All of Samsung’s Android devices are supported for two major updates.

* Since Android 10 is already present, it does not count towards this allocation. Customers who buy this device will most likely receive two Android platform updates, which means they’re ready until Android 12 is released in two years.

* Samsung will start selling the Galaxy Note 10 Lite in February 2020 for 599 euros. The handset is to be marketed in other markets around the world eventually. Its color options include Aura Glow, Aura Black, and Aura Red.
